Champagne Pierre Paillard

Maison Pierre Paillard was founded over 200 years ago in Bouzy. Today, it is run by brothers Antoine and Quentin Paillard, the eighth generation of winegrowers. The Paillard family settled in Bouzy at the beginning of the 18th century. Historically, the family was comprised of shepherds, then innkeepers and schoolmasters. The ancestorial Antoine Paillard acquired several parcels of vines in Bouzy in 1768 becoming a viticulturist and starting the familial tradition.

Paillard family domain, a historic 11-hectare vineyard, is located in the legendary Grand Cru terroir of Bouzy. Its chalky subsoil and southern exposure yield a generous yet balanced Pinot Noir with unique structure and finesse.
